Just watched the various talk show clips in MD de blog....
Very funny lor.. I like the way they talk -i like their hokkien....
After watching the clips... it seems that Diying is the most "Hong" tw hua dans among them....
hmmm......... How do you all rank the various tw hua dans?

hah.. sh asked me how come i didnt put my own ranking..ok, here's my preference:
1) singing
xxn, qr, lmy, xxj, shj, lmz, dy, smyj
2) outlook
xxn, dy, lmz,shj,qr, lmy, smjy,xxj
I realised i got difficulty ranking "acting" cos i think they all act well...

Outlook: xxn,lmz,dy,shj,qr,lmy,smyj,xxj
Singing:
xxn,qr,shj,xxj,lmy,dy,lmz,smyj
Acting:
All number 1
Actually very difficult to judge cos a few of them are my favourites.

Well..I feel that it isn't very fair to rank them as they have their own strengths and also the ranking may be affected by personal preferances.
Even XXN has her weaknesses.
Now talk about personal preferences, I don't think XXN is a great beauty...In fact LMZ is prettier than XXN. XXN has a "harder" look compared to LMZ.
When come to singing...I think the weaker dans are DY and SMYJ. The rest sing so beautifully.
If you ask my mum to choose her favourite dan, she will choose SMYJ and that surely a kind of a shock because SMYJ is not that popular as XXN.
N you may be surprised that quite a few may like that squeaky-voiced LMZ. (U know who lah)
I don't like LMZ's squeaky voice but I can't deny that she has the Missy Dan look and she really can project it well.
Perhaps to say...XXN is a well-rounder dan compared to the rest...
But if you were to see her movements....hahahahahahahahahaha
I don't think she even qualify for my expectations for dans cos I prefer China dans more than TW dans.

Eg all of us know that Dy and smyj sang weaker than the rest. But yet dy is very much popular then many of the better singers such as QR, LMY, SHJ etc so her outlook and other aspects must have added lots of points...
Same with LMZ - so wat if her voice is squeaky and her singing is average (as compared with some). But audience stil like her due to the top beauty and Missy image..
As for xxn - agreed lor- her movements indeed cannot be "see" from the pro-std. But i guess aunty audience dot really mind cos she well well, sing well and is among the top gd looks...

DY is my favorite dan since young till now... cos she is pretty and i like her speech.. follow by XXN..
Fr: Wow.......DY is indeed very very pretty and I also think that xxj is pretty too but don't know why she isn't among the popular tops. Perhaps she doesnt have that much opportunities compared to the rest. U hardly see XXJ TOP in the shows...just a few but really not many. But I do think she is pretty. ^^

Guess popularity depends on combination of many factors - does not depends solely on singing. Or Oppportunities. Or solely on pretty face.
Sometimes also depends on their own luck and competitions then.xj
