Busy + High staff turnover

Yeah.. i know. Long time didnt blog.

Mk complained my blog got spider web... haha.. yeah, i noticed that !

Really busy lar - busy with work that i dont have time for myself, my family and my opera

The turnover rate in my dept has never been so high.



Feb 07- May 08 ....16 months... and we have 13 resignations - almost 1 a month !



Why ah?



Mixture of reasons...
Some said work is getting more stressful each day.
Some said pay didnt increase in proportion to work.
Some wanted to focus on family.
Some said better opening...



Hmmm... i agree that work is getting more tough these days.

My idol said work is the same everywhere... Its the people that will make a difference to our life. Agree also lah.

But if pay is so low as compared to new comer, or too low as compared to market's rate... then its understandable that staff will feel down and pek chey right ?

On the other hand, there are people who are happy here of course. Eg sandra ! Must kowtao to her. She worked 6 days OT a week for such a long period - but yet stil didnt fall sick ... we say she must have got lot of job satisfaction from her work.

Too bad I dont have her this type of healthy body lor.. i only have worked 2 mths of 5-days overtime per week and i am now down with cough and flu.... haha...



Anyway, hope things would be better in 2nd half of the year la!



Just now i mentioned 13 resignations right?.... The last one was my immediate boss Yoke Leong - his last day was 6 Jun. Some pics....
